Welcome to New Talos Archives. A place to show case Sir Winston’s stories and writings. The site has been in operation since Nov. of 2006. Although not as prolific as some Authors, there are a few stories here.

Most of the content here is free, but the rest will require a subscription. Buying a Subscription used to be easy, but a denial of service from the online payment service has all but convinced me to shut the site down completely.

After 8 years of great service, the company decided to freeze my account and hold it hostage until I removed all references to said company from this website. No explanation was given, although their acceptable use policy was referenced. Funny thing is, how come it took them 8 years to do this? Perhaps they had help in the form of someone telling them?

Anyway, I’ve been ordered to never use their service on this site again, and I am in compliance with that dictate. The only company that provides this type of service is a relatively new company, that few have heard of, and rumors abound about. However, I no longer have a choice of services. I apologize for this inconvenience, but it cannot be helped.

AlertPay is giving me a hard time trying to get it verified, but I do have Google check out for the eBook store. However, I still have to manually send out the eBooks, so please be patient until I can get all this figured out.

I know you’re all going to think I’ve flipped out, but I’ve had an epiphany.

Instead of my insistent, persistent begs for money, I’ve decided to simply sell all my bills. I know, it sounds like I’ve finally gone around the bend. But please just check this out. It’ll only work if you all contribute to the idea!

Hey folks! This isn’t the posting I wanted it to be, but I’m trying to get some bills paid, so I’ll give ya what I got.

After moving down to the their tropical island, the Rogers family and their friends continue to work to repair the government, as well as trying to fix our world. But the agency that was under the control of the late Edwin Brush is far from dead as they prove in the long awaited next chapter of Eminent Domain.

*I had to repost Chapter 16 as well since I had to add more to it to support future plot developments. This Chapter has not been Proofed yet.

I know it seems like I’m only posting one new chapter, and I suppose you could say that I am. However, I did have to repost ED chapter 16 because of rewritten content.

I did get the $500 to the Landlord to keep him from evicting me, but I still have to pay him for this month, not to mention the Insurance bill I have to pay as well as the last trailer payment. Please folks! I’m doing my part, please make a donation and help me dig my butt out of this mess.

I’ll be posting the next few chapter as soon as I have them finished, but I won’t send out another newsletter until next Friday.

Hello again everyone! I’m back, and I’m bearing gifts! Yeah, I know, I’m a little late, but hey, it’s the thought that counts right? Just so you all know, please don’t get bent outta shape if you see a lot of errors in these two chapters. I posted them raw this time. I also sent them both to be proofed, but I need to generate subscriptions, and soon (I hope) donations. So here you go…

As Ben tried to figure out a way to talk to their new friend, the family discovers that someone has been unethically experimenting on one of Ben’s wives! Find out which wife, and who the surprising ‘mad scientist’ is in Chapter 10 of Deirdre. *This story is Subscription access only. the first 8 chapters are available to Basic Subscribers, and the final 2 are for Premium Subscribers.

Fallon and Jenna finally convince Hugh to return to Medical because there is something not completely right in his mind. While waiting for the Shrink, Tatyana alerts Hugh to a new, potentially deadly threat approaching them at several hundred time the speed of light! Titania is also a subscription access only story. Chapter 20 is now available for Premium subscribers, and chapter 18 is available for Basic subscibers.

I know both of these chapters are subscription stories, and I apologize for that, it’s just the way it worked out this time. Normally, I’ll try to do one subscription only as well as one public/registered user access. I do plan on eventually doing away completely with the public access, and go back to registered access for the free chapters. That way, at least I’ll know how many people are visiting the site.

I am also adding a way to make donations again. So with luck, it’ll be easier to help me out if you’re so inclined. Lord knows I could sure use it right now!

I am also planning on asking Lazeez of Stories online to allow me to post stories to his site again. With luck, that’ll help generate more traffic to this site. I will also be considering a couple of other websites to post to. I’ll just have to see what happens.

I’m in serious trouble. I need a thousand dollars by tomorrow in order to keep my house, and insurance. Please folks, this is, once again, my only source of income, and I really need it right now.

We skipped Christmas presents, except a few for our adopted nieces that we could make by hand. Lansharra picked up a smoked turkey breast for $5.00 for her to eat. (I was in the hospital) The rest of the money we’ve made this month has gone on ‘gas’ for friends to give us rides.

I really need this! I wouldn’t be begging if I didn’t!

Hey everyone, as you can see, I’m still here. Although I really would like to stop these unexpected trips to the hospital. This stay was because the mesh used to repair my hernia’s had become infected. I had an abscess the size of a child’s fist form on the incision from the surgery. Anyway, they had to surgically remove the mesh, and now I’m on a ton of anti-biotics, and have a lot more wound care until this thing heals itself up.

I am in pain, and I am taking pain meds almost regularly for now. Don’t worry, I will do my best to make sure I do not get addicted to them. I might talk about taking them all the time, but I usually don’t. However, for now, I really am.

I am working, but this little trip has screwed up my plans. I’ll just have to do my best to get as much out as soon as I can without degrading the story I’m trying to tell. I’m also resetting our laptop back to factory settings since the damn thing decided it didn’t want to work anymore. That is the computer I mostly write on now.

I’m posting two chapters today; Apprentice Crisis chapter 5 and Tides of Mars chapter 31. I moved a few chapters of those stories to free and basic subscriber levels as outlined below. I hope you enjoy them.

This trip to the hospital messed up my plan, yes, but worst of all, it has left me with no chance at all of getting the money we need to pay this month’s bills. I still need $1000.00 just for this month, that’s rent, the last trailer payment, and our medical insurance.

A couple of months back, I cut a deal with my landlord to not evict me as long as I made an honest effort to get caught up on the back rent, and above all did not go backwards (miss a month, or not make a full months payment.) I am very much in danger of doing exactly that. I have no money, and four days left in the month. the balance of the $1000.00 would be for the very last trailer payment I owe, (lowering my bills by $180.00 per month!) and for our medical insurance that we absolutely must have.

Please everyone! I really need the help!

My New Year’s resolution is to work better and smarter, thus producing more chapters in a timely manner, this should generate more subscriptions and donations, which will force me to beg less! I can get a handle on my finances finally, and stop worrying that I’m going to get evicted every month!

Yes! By the Goddess! It’s a new post! I bet you all thought I forgot about posting here didn’t you? Well, I didn’t nor have I died or forgotten about writing. (It’s pretty much all I think about) I have been having trouble getting it typed out, but that’s another story.

I am still recovering from the series of surgeries I had back in November. I guess the more complications you have the longer it takes to heal. Now I think I might have an infection in there. Wonderful huh?

Anyway, there are two new chapters in the pipe and rolling this way. I wanted to have two more in there by now, but it doesn’t look like that’s actually going to be a reality. Still, I will do my best to get them finished before the end of the year.

Well, I got the subscriptions to work, somewhat… I still have to update the accounts manually, but at least you can buy the subscription. Donations are gone, and I’m working to get the store working well. I’ll be adding an End of the Year Special as well soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

I’ve posted chapter 9 for premium users, and moved chapter 8 to the basic area. Since this is a wholly new chapter, it’s my hope that this will generate some donations. In the last two weeks, there have been only two. It’s very hard to live on that. Please folks, if you like my writing, donate!

Remember, All subscriptions have been cancelled; Donations are the ONLY income I have, period.

My wife does have one ‘less than minimum wage’ part time job but that isn’t really helping since most of that money goes for gas.
